For our client, a well-established and fully regulated Forex brokerage firm located in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join their senior leadership team.
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER – FOREX / CFD
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Employment: Full-Time | Office-Based | Hybrid
Salary: Up to €12,000 gross per month, depending on experience
Relocation: Full relocation support provided
Working Model: Hybrid arrangements may be available after the initial period
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s global marketing function and supporting its continued international growth across multiple markets and regulatory jurisdictions.
Working closely with the CEO, Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership team, the CMO will oversee customer acquisition, conversion, retention, brand positioning and overall marketing performance, with a strong focus on measurable commercial results and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the global marketing strategy in line with the company’s commercial objectives.
• Lead customer acquisition across performance marketing, affiliates, Introducing Brokers, paid media, CRM, SEO and other digital channels.
• Own and optimize the full customer lifecycle: Lead → KYC → FTD → Deposit → Active Client → Retention.
• Improve acquisition efficiency, conversion rates, retention and customer lifetime value.
• Manage international marketing budgets and multi-market campaigns.
• Monitor and optimize key performance indicators including FTDs, deposits, CAC, CPL, CPA, LTV and ROAS.
• Develop and expand affiliate and IB acquisition strategies.
• Identify new markets, channels, partnerships and commercial growth opportunities.
• Lead CRM, lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation and engagement strategies.
• Manage, develop and mentor a high-performing international marketing team.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Compliance, Finance, Technology and other commercial functions.
• Ensure all marketing activities remain aligned with applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience within Forex, CFDs, online trading or a closely related financial services environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior marketing leadership position such as CMO, Marketing Director or Head of Marketing.
• Strong understanding of the Forex / CFD brokerage business model and complete customer lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing international marketing budgets and multi-market campaigns.
• Strong expertise across performance marketing, affiliates, IBs, CRM, acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a clear focus on revenue growth, performance and ROI.
• Experience managing and developing international marketing teams.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
