Are you passionate about supporting Aboriginal families in their early years? Moree Community Health is seeking a dedicated Child and Family Health Nurse to join the Aboriginal Child & Family Health team (OATSIH), providing care and guidance to a growing community of new mums, bubs and families.
About The Role
This is both an independent and collaborative role where you’ll promote and support the health & wellbeing of Aboriginal children and families through person centred, sensitive and culturally responsive care through monitoring, education, prevention, promotion and early intervention strategies. Your work will have a real impact on the health and wellbeing of local families, helping to shape the next generation in a small, connected town.
This position will work in partnership with an Aboriginal Health Education Officer and in collaboration with the Moree Aboriginal community to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal children.

Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

- Postgraduate qualifications in the field of Child and Family Health Nursing, or working towards. Certified Nurse Immuniser would be desirable.
- Effective communication and advocacy skills.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
