Designation: Chilled Water Foreman

Role Description The Chilled Water Foremen for MEP co. role is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai. This role oversees chilled water piping and associated MEP works, including planning daily activities, allocating tasks to technicians, and monitoring progress against project schedules. The foreperson coordinates with site engineers and other trades to ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of chilled water networks in line with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Daily tasks include supervising workforce performance, inspecting workmanship and materials, addressing technical issues, and reporting site status to project management. The role also involves ensuring adherence to quality, health, and safety procedures, supporting maintenance activities, and assisting in resolving any site constraints or equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess Heavy Equipment familiarity relevant to chilled water and MEP works, such as pumps, valves, and pipe installation tools.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Candidates should possess Carpentry-related skills useful for basic supports, framing, and installation of chilled water pipework and associated structures.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance skills for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chilled water systems and related MEP components.
• Relevant experience as a foreperson or supervisor in chilled water or HVAC/MEP projects, preferably within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of chilled water distribution systems, piping standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in mechanical, HVAC, or a related field; higher technical qualifications are an advantage.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in chilled water piping (HVAC) installation and site supervision within the UAE construction or MEP sector.

Skills/ specification:

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC chilled water systems, ASHRAE standards, and local UAE municipal/civil defense regulations.
• valid UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Salary: AED 3k to 6k (depend on experience)
