Civil Engineer

The Opportunity

Fyfe is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Darwin Civil team.

Working alongside experienced engineers, designers and multidisciplinary specialists, you'll contribute to the delivery of civil engineering projects across the Infrastructure, Energy & Resources, Renewables and Property sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across all stages of project delivery, from concept and feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction support. You'll work closely with clients and project teams to develop practical engineering solutions that meet project objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The Impact You'll Have

• Deliver civil engineering designs and documentation across a variety of infrastructure projects.
• Develop stormwater drainage, erosion control and crossing designs for waterways, pipelines, rail and road networks.
• Contribute to concept, feasibility and detailed design solutions while supporting approvals and project reviews.
• Prepare project specifications, scopes of work and technical documentation that drive successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, councils and regulatory authorities to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Help ensure designs meet relevant Australian Standards, industry requirements and best-practice engineering principles.

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
• RPEQ accreditation, or a willingness to work towards accreditation, will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical report writing skills.
• The ability to interpret complex design requirements and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes within project timeframes.
• Proficiency in relevant civil engineering software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to client service, quality and collaboration.
