Role Summary

Vantage Capital, an ADGM-licensed wealth management firm regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding Specialist to own the end-to-end onboarding of high-net-worth individual (HNWI) clients. This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role covering KYC, CDD, and source of wealth (SOW) documentation for clients across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is able to work independently on HNWI client account onboarding and brings a private banking background, cross-border KYC fluency, and is comfortable leveraging AI/LLM tools (Claude preferred) to work efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full onboarding lifecycle for new HNWI clients, from initial document collection through to account activation
• Conduct and document KYC/CDD in line with FSRA and international private banking standards
• Prepare thorough, well-corroborated source of wealth and source of funds write-ups for clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional profiles
• Liaise directly with clients (and their advisors/family offices) to collect required documentation with professionalism and discretion
• Identify and flag jurisdiction-specific risk factors (PEP status, sanctions exposure, complex ownership structures, etc.)
• Prepare complete onboarding files for Relationship Manager and internal Compliance's review and final sign-off
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records throughout the onboarding process
• Use AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline documentation drafting, research, and quality checks — while maintaining strict confidentiality and data handling standards
• Stay current on FSRA regulatory updates and evolving international KYC/AML standards (FATF etc.)
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Compliance to continuously improve onboarding turnaround time and client experience
• Liaise with counterparties at international Private Banks (Switzerland and Singapore) to ensure compliance with KYC requirements to meet the bank's standards.

Duties

• Manage a pipeline of concurrent onboarding cases, prioritizing by urgency and complexity
• Draft SOW/SOF narratives that withstand internal and regulatory scrutiny
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders as needed to corroborate client wealth documentation
• Escalate and flags incomplete documentation promptly
• Maintain onboarding trackers and provide status reporting to CEO
• Support periodic client file reviews (EDD/periodic KYC refresh) as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in KYC/CDD and HNWI account onboarding, preferably within a private banking environment
• Prior exposure to Singapore and/or Switzerland regulatory environments strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to independently research and write source of wealth/source of funds narratives for complex, multi-jurisdictional clients with limited oversight from a manager or other senior colleagues
• Strong working knowledge of AML/CDD frameworks (FATF standards etc.); FSRA/DIFC familiarity a strong plus
• Comfortable using LLM/AI tools (Claude preferred) as part of daily workflow, with sound judgment on data confidentiality
• Excellent English
• High discretion, attention to detail, and ownership mentality — able to manage a case from start to finish with minimal oversight
• High level of intelligence combined with a willingness and ability to learn fast
• Bachelor's degree required; certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS or equivalent are a strong plus
