Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) is the first level in the CRC career path. The CRC I coordinates clinical research activity on-site at Moffitt Cancer Center. As the primary resource for the protocols, the CRC I will coordinate patient care by collaborating with medical staff, and document in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines with the direction of a mentor or supervisor. The clinical research coordinator I will act as liaison between the investigators, Moffitt regulatory staff and the sponsor. Along with the investigator, the CRC I will assist to screen, enroll, and follow study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while the subjects are on study. In addition, the CRC I is responsible for data and source documentation and adverse experience reporting. The CRC will perform diverse administrative duties requiring analysis, sound judgment, and a high level of knowledge of study specific protocols. The CRC I is expected to work under general supervision and direction from the supervisor and Principal Investigator to implement and coordinate research, including administrative procedures. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment. Works under clearly defined guidelines and normally receives detailed instructions on work assignments. Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships. Performs routine assignments using existing procedures. Has conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures acquired through a degree. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule and hybrid work (mix of remote and on-site) after passing a 90-day introductory and training period. Moffitt offers paid training and orientation through its CTO (Clinical Trails Office) Academy. Position tiers may vary according to experience. Credentials and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree* (preferred field of study scientific, health related or business administration program) with one (1) year of relevant clinical, health related, scientific, business or research experience *In lieu of bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant clinical, health related, scientific, business or research experience • CCRP/CCRC or equivalent preferred. Salary Range $26.32 - $40.14 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
