In this role, you’ll audit, source, review costs, and visit suppliers while collaborating with a dynamic, diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing: Participate in cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and select sources that demonstrate market segment leadership and increase value to our organization Create, maintain, and execute procurement commodity strategies for the assigned categories Improve quality and delivery by leading supplier selection and developing improvement plans through monitoring supplier performance regularly and leading key initiatives Develop, distribute, and analyze RFPs/RFQs and collect proposals to support competitive sourcing decisions. Lead negotiations and assist with contract management. Eliminate supply chain risk by addressing concerns and supporting internal stakeholders in the event of imminent supply risk. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function and across the supply chain. Collaborate in Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG) initiatives that promote global synergy. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience Proficient with MS Office applications and highly skilled in Excel Strong analytical and research skills Must be able to problem solve and handle multiple tasks effectively Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Demonstrated ability to lead commodity strategy development autonomously basely on objective and subjective criteria What Sets You Apart: CSPM or APICS certification is a plus Results oriented and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level Where and When You’ll Work: This is an in-person role located at either our Greene, NY or Columbus, IN offices—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Travel: up to 25-30% (domestic and international) What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $70,000 - $105,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
