Rotterdam · Full-time · 4 days on-site, 1 flexible · €3,400–4,200 gross/month · Netherlands-based
You are probably already in our WhatsApp groups. Bonus points if you also know your way around
Klaviyo.
Beautinow is a niche perfume shop from Rotterdam with customers across Europe, 15,000 members in
our WhatsApp community, and a 4.9 on Trustpilot. The community is the most alive part of our
company, and until now we have treated it like a billboard. That ends here.
The gap: nobody at Beautinow wakes up every day responsible for our members. Not for the
conversations, not for bringing them back, not for turning 15,000 people into the engine of this
company. We believe retention and community are the same job done well: people come back to places where they belong, and then email reminds them at the right moment. We built the store first and the community second. The best fragrance businesses in the world did it the other way around. We are fixing the order.
What you will actually do
Community — the core of the role:
• Run our WhatsApp community, 7 groups and 15,000 members, every day: conversations, drops,
votes, events. Turn a billboard into a living room.
• Run group orders end-to-end starting with simple forms and site links: pick the bottles together with
members, collect demand, work with procurement to source at the best price, and deliver. Keep
operations clean and disciplined under a 'sell first, buy second' model, scaling the setup step-by-
step.
• In your first 90 days: bring the groups alive and run at least two full pre-order rounds, from
WhatsApp form to delivered packages.
Retention — the machinery behind it:
• Own our Klaviyo flows end to end: welcome, cart and checkout abandonment, post-purchase
education, win-back. Build them, test them, improve them.
• Connect our WPLoyalty program to the community rhythm: rewards, VIP tiers, point campaigns.
• Segment properly: purchase history, scent preferences, engagement, RFM. Email serves the
community calendar of drops and pre-orders, not the other way around.
• Keep the list healthy: hygiene, deliverability, sender reputation.
AI as a daily tool
• Use AI (Claude, Gemini) to scale copy variations, A/B test subject lines, and turn thousands of
reviews and WhatsApp messages into insight we act on. We are building an AI-native company; you
work that way from day one.
Later
• Help develop our own fragrance brand, from community votes to sample testing to launch. It exists,
it has a name, and you will hear it in the first interview.
What you will be judged on
Four numbers, shared openly: community-attributed revenue, repeat purchase rate, pre-order sell-
through, and customer lifetime value. We track them together, every week.
Who fits
• A real fraghead. You have a rotation. You have opinions about batches. You have explained sillage to
a confused friend at least once.
• A host, not just a guest. In a group, you are the one who gets other people talking.
• Organized. Collecting 200 orders in a WhatsApp thread without chaos takes real discipline.
• Hands-on with the tools. You can build a Klaviyo flow that works and read GA4 without panic. You
do not need ten years of CRM titles; you need to ship things that run.
• Based in the Netherlands, we offer KM sponsorship. Fluent English; Dutch is a plus. Our community
is international.
The honest part
This is not a corporate marketing role, and it is not a dashboard job. Beautinow is in the middle of a
turnaround: we are rebuilding the company, and you will write this role's playbook, because there is
none. Email here serves the community, not the other way around; if your dream is managing agencies
and reporting from a distance, this is the wrong place. The culture is direct; we say things straight,
including to the founder. And if you come from the community, you will go from member to host:
moderating people you have chatted with for years takes a backbone.
What you will find here
A small team where you matter, an office with music on, Friday drinks with the wider group, and a direct line to the founder: you would work with him personally on the brand development. And one rare thing: the chance to help create a perfume brand from zero, with 15,000 people watching and voting.
Salary: €3,400–4,200 gross per month depending on experience, plus 8% holiday allowance. When the brand-development phase begins, the role steps up, and so does the band: €4,400–4,800.
