Full Time 36 hours per week
Band 6 Salary Range £43,231- £52,679 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
Are you are an experienced Registered Nurse, who is enthusiastic about your role and wants to make a difference? If so, we want you to join us working as part of our Community Nursing Team, delivering care to the population of Shetland. We have a vacancy for a Band 6 Nurse, preferably with 2 years Community nursing experience.
Working with the District Nurse Specialist Practitioner in the Community and in partnership with the existing Primary Health and Social Care Teams. You will help support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for patients, families and carers of the Practice population with whom you are working, and will have the opportunity to develop your own clinical skills and knowledge.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to team working and ongoing professional development. Community experience is essential and candidates must possess a Non-Medical prescribing qualification and Advanced Clinical assessment Skills.
Due to the role requirement to travel as part of work commitments, applicants must hold a full UK driving license to ensure they meet the travel requirements of the post. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in our on-call rota.
