Compensation: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly $53–$57/hour (depending on experience) + 1.5x Overtime | 70–80 Hours/Week | Per Diem & Relocation Support
We are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Manager to join a major 2+-year construction project in Mt. Pleasant, WI. This is a hands-on field safety role for someone who knows construction, understands OSHA, and is comfortable being out on the jobsite working directly with project leadership, subcontractors, trades, and field teams.
- Time-and-a-half for overtime
- Typical workweeks of 70–80 hours
- $6,500/month taxable living allowance available for qualifying relocation candidates
- Mileage per diem available for candidates living more than 50 miles from the project site
- 3 weeks of vacation

What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day safety operations for the project
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and applicable regulations
- Develop and maintain site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Conduct daily/regular jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Conduct safety orientations and workforce training
- Track employee training and certification requirements
- Work closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and trades to maintain a strong safety culture
- Support HR with new-hire onboarding and compliance documentation
- Participate in client reviews, safety audits, and regulatory inspections
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of construction safety experience
- Strong understanding of OSHA construction standards
- Hands-on jobsite/field safety experience
- Experience with large commercial or electrical construction is highly preferred
- Data center construction experience is a plus
- OSHA 30 preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working directly with field personnel, trades, and project leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
No degree required. Construction safety experience is what matters most.
Important: This is a true construction safety position. Candidates with primarily Quality, manufacturing, or general EHS backgrounds without significant construction/jobsite safety experience will not be considered.
Schedule: This is a high-overtime opportunity, with expected workweeks of approximately 70–80 hours.
