Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Roscommon, Ireland

📍 Roscommon, Ireland | HSE CAMHS

Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (CAMHS) Job – Roscommon

MatchMedics is recruiting a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join an established HSE CAMHS service in Roscommon.

This is an opportunity for an experienced CAMHS psychiatrist to take a senior clinical role within a multidisciplinary service providing assessment, treatment and ongoing care to children, adolescents and their families.

The post will suit a Consultant looking for a position where they can combine direct clinical work with multidisciplinary leadership, service development and supervision of junior medical staff, while working within Ireland’s consultant-led public mental health system.

Roscommon also offers an attractive alternative for Consultants looking beyond the major Irish cities, with strong regional connections, access to Galway and the West of Ireland, and generally more manageable housing costs and commuting than Ireland’s largest urban centres.

  • Family-friendly towns and communities
  • Access to Galway and the wider West of Ireland
  • Shorter and more manageable commuting options
  • Excellent access to outdoor activities and rural Ireland
