WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE The Content Strategy & Editorial Lead is a highly visible, cross-functional role responsible for shaping the content strategy for Health Answers by Pfizer. This role helps ensure that the product’s content remains accurate, unbiased, discoverable, relevant and responsive to user needs, while supporting broader product, marketing and platform objectives. At the strategic level, the Content Lead helps determines the product’s content needs, which user needs should be prioritized, and how content should evolve. At the operational level, the role oversees and executes everyday tasks that ensure all areas of the product are up to date and accurate. In addition, this role builds and maintains relationships with key content and data partners and other strategic suppliers, evaluates partner performance and identifies opportunities to improve content quality and user value. The role works closely with the Editorial Lead, Medical, to ensure content strategy and quality decisions are informed by appropriate medical expertise and aligned with HAbP governance standards. HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT Own and evolve the HAbP content strategy: Lead the ongoing development and implementation of HAbP's content. Define priorities, identify opportunities and translate user needs, performance insights and organisational objectives into a clear content roadmap. Lead editorial quality and governance: Partner with the Editorial Lead, Medical, and external providers to ensure content remains trustworthy, evidence-based and aligned with HAbP's editorial and governance standards. This includes overseeing and/or executing everyday tasks that ensure all areas of the product are up to date and accurate. Drive discoverability and content optimization: Shape HAbP's approach to SEO, GEO and AI-powered discovery. Identify opportunities to improve discoverability, search visibility and user engagement through content optimization and refresh initiatives. Maintain and execute the optimization process. Partner across Product, Marketing and CRM: Represent content strategy within Product and Marketing initiatives, ensuring content supports user journeys, platform evolution, CRM programs and audience acquisition, engagement and retention objectives. Translate insight into action: Work with Analytics to understand user behavior, measure content effectiveness and translate insight into strategic recommendations and content priorities. Own strategic content partner relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key content and data partners other strategic suppliers. Evaluate partner performance and identify opportunities to improve content quality and user value. Manage partner governance and renewals. Manage the rotational program: Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and development support for HAbP's rotational colleague(s), ensuring meaningful contribution to business priorities while supporting individual growth. QUALIFICATIONS Must-Have Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of experience Experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, digital publishing, health communications or a related field. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that balance user needs, business priorities and performance objectives. Strong experience working across multiple functions, including Product, Marketing, Analytics, Medical and external partners. Experience managing agencies, publishers, content providers or other third-party suppliers. Experience supporting supplier agreements, Statements of Work and annual contract renewals. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience using data, user insight and performance metrics to guide decision making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, project management and prioritization capabilities. Nice-to-Have Master's degree with at least 7+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience, OR a MD with 4+ years of experience. Familiarity with editorial governance and health information quality standards. Working knowledge of SEO, content optimisation and search performance. Understanding of GEO, AI Overviews and emerging AI-powered search experiences. Experience supporting CRM, lifecycle marketing or audience engagement programs. Experience working with healthcare content or data providers. Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and credibly with senior leaders, external partners and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to navigate regulated environments while protecting editorial quality, trust and operational continuity.
