We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Credit Policy and Underwriting Manager in our Vienna office to drive operational excellence in our credit assessment processes in the Polish market.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead credit policy and underwriting for unsecured lending to private individuals. The role combines portfolio oversight, product development and effective credit controls, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and group policies.

• Translate policy into functional requirements for the risk decision engine and credit processes; partner with technology teams on implementation and testing.
• Shape the credit risk product backlog, including epics and user stories, and support the development and launch of new products and features.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and use champion–challenger testing to improve decision strategies.
• Ensure credit controls operate effectively, and processes are in line with regulatory requirements and group policies.
• Manage third-party solutions and providers, ongoing maintenance, performance oversight and controls.

Your Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in managing credit risk, credit policy or underwriting in banking / non-banking credit institutions with focus on unsecured lending to private individuals in Poland
• Digital savvy, great orientation in digital banking industry and financial innovations
• Experience with 3rd party solution providers – credit bureaus, PSD2 services
• Proactive and result-driven approach with attention to detail and quality
• Polish on native level, good command of English as working language
