THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE The Data & AI Domain is looking for a Data & AI Operations Engineer based out of Milton Keynes . FTC – 24 Months The role will be accountable for managing the day to day of the Credit Card control models, including developing these further to meet business and regulatory requirements and improve efficiency. You will be responsible for the accuracy and robustness of outputs and data compliance within the defined control frameworks. The role will involve liaising with stakeholders to understand business issues & analytical requirements, as well as the needs of end customers, ensuring these are reflected in the project delivery approach and deliverables. The holder will build excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders, including the Data & Analytics CoE leadership team and product team, through effective communication and on-time delivery of high quality outputs. The difference you’ll make: Work with the business / data stewards to understand requirements and deliver outputs that meet these. Proactively identify poor quality data and report to relevant stakeholders, supporting / executing remediation actions as required. Present the results of analysis in an impactful manner that is appropriate to the audience, to encourage data-driven decision making across the organisation Support and collaborate across Chief Data Office and with the wider business, acting as key contact to ensure successful resolution to incidents and projects. Identify, assess, manage and report risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for ‘doing the right thing’ in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies. Takes responsibility for specific risks and issues, demonstrating what good looks like to other project team members and stakeholders. Promote and encourage good culture and behaviours personally and across the Team. What you’ll bring: Possesses an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Credit Card Products A thorough understanding of Credit Card data sources and data infrastructure. Attention to detail when working with data in order to make accurate conclusions and predictions. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good stakeholder management and collaboration skills. A high level of commercial awareness. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent SQL coding experience Experience of AWS & Snowflake What else you need to know: Location for this role is Milton Keynes and current expectation is at least 3 days in an office every week We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: The maintenance and future development of the Credit Card control suites including build of new controls and driving efficiency of existing controls using new technologies End to end management of incidents to include the analysis of Customer impact and the required remedial activities Become a go to Credit Card SME to manage product queries including interest and fees, cashback, Direct Debits and balance transfers Control correct system parameterisation in line with product proposition and terms & conditions, ensure system aligned to regulatory and compliance rules Test new product functionality, change control for new product setup and parameter changes. Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly operational control processes are carried out to ensure the ongoing consistency and accuracy of Interest, Fees & Charges and Cashback in PCAS. Salary Range: £54,000.00 - £81,000.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
