Data Analyst

Amoha Recruitment Services is building a talent pipeline of data analysts for upcoming client engagements across finance, healthcare, retail, and technology. We work with candidates on OPT, STEM-OPT, and H-1B status, as well as US citizens and Green Card holders.

What You'll Do (Typical Responsibilities Across Client Engagements)

• Collect, clean, and analyze datasets to answer specific business questions
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau
• Track KPIs and business performance metrics for stakeholders
• Validate data accuracy and consistency across sources
• Automate recurring reports and repetitive analytical processes
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 0–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and formulas
• Experience with at least one visualization tool: Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of data cleaning, validation, and visualization concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Skills That Strengthen Your Application

• Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy)
• Advanced Excel and Power Query
• Modern data-stack tools: dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehouse concepts
• Basic statistics and predictive analytics
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-assisted analytics tools

Compensation & Benefits

• Market-competitive salary: $65,000–$95,000/year (varies by client, location, and tool proficiency)
