Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC 28277

Work Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week

Contract Length: 12 Months – Potential to Extend to 24 Months

Pay: $50/HR W2

Position Overview

Seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented Data Analyst to support data enablement and management activities. This role includes gathering and writing data use case requirements, performing data analysis, and developing data relationship designs.

The Data Analyst will work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and engage with business partners to define and deliver impactful and reusable data solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• MSSQL: Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMS
• Ability to define clear data sourcing and transformation logic requirements and database/table/column specifications
• Experience with metadata management and data governance practices
• Proficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Data Cloud stack, including Dataplex and BigQuery
• Familiarity with SSIS packages and jobs
• Familiarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software, including Jira

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use cases
• Design and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracy
• Identify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoring
• Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutions
• Participate in data management documentation, including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata management
• Evaluate upstream system-of-record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendations
• Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications
• Partner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with team and enterprise data standards
