Retail & Commercial Banking is a global business integrating all our retail and commercial banking activities to better serve our customers, improve efficiency and drive value creation. THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE CE&CP is looking for a Customer Intelligence Analyst based out of either Milton Keynes, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast and Bradford. This role is on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This role is part of our Agile Customer Engagement Squads, where we believe smart, timely customer engagement has the power to create positive outcomes for our customers today and in the future. We’re looking for a Customer Intelligence Analyst to play a key role in driving customer-led growth across our digital channels. You’ll use data, digital analytics and experimentation insight to identify conversion opportunities, optimise journeys, and improve personalised customer engagement. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Delivering data-driven insights to identify, quantify and optimise conversion opportunities across digital channels Analysing end-to-end customer journeys, including web and app behaviour, drop-off points, and channel interactions Evaluating 1:1 customer engagement campaign performance and making recommendations for improvement Leveraging digital analytics tools to understand customer behaviour, attribution and experience across journeys Supporting test-and-learn and experimentation activity, including A/B testing and journey optimisation Proactively identifying new data sources to enhance insights and improve conversion rates Designing and maintaining insight-led dashboards and MI, combining customer, product and digital metrics Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver exceptional customer-centric solutions Developing and maintaining great working relationships with key stakeholders WHAT YOU’LL BRING Our people are our greatest strength. Professional Experience: Extensive experience working with customer and product data within retail banking (Required) A great track record of delivering actionable analytical insights across journeys, products and customer segments (Required) Experience with digital journey optimisation, funnel analysis and experimentation (Required) Extensive experience with BI tools: SAS, SQL, HUE, AWS Athena (Required) Experience with other BI tools/platforms: Power BI, Python, Adobe Analytics, Adobe CJO (Preferred) Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to link insights with business outcomes (Required) Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel & PowerPoint (Required) Experience working within an Agile delivery framework (Preferred) Education: Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related subject (Preferred) Candidates without a higher level qualification will be considered if they can demonstrate that they have the required skills and experience. Hard Skills: Excellent analytical capability with the ability to create reporting to measure outcomes and to identify optimisation opportunities (Required) Experience working with large, complex datasets (Required) Great understanding of digital performance metrics, conversion analysis and customer journeys (Required) High attention to detail with excellent data quality awareness (Required) Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively (Required) Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) (Required) Awareness of AI and advanced analytics concepts (Preferred) Soft Skills: Curious, questioning mindset with a passion for understanding customer behaviour (Required) Confident communicator, able to tailor messages to different audiences (Required) Proactive, accountable and results-driven (Required) Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities (Required) Excellent collaborator who builds effective relationships across teams (Required) WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT At Santander, your contribution matters. Salary Range: £ 52,459.00 - £78,689.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
