The Data & AI Domain at Santander is responsible for setting the strategic direction for data, analytics, and artificial intelligence across the organisation. THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE The Data & AI Domain is looking for a senior PMO manager based out of Milton Keynes . 12 Month - FTC Builds and manages a strict delivery governance framework and Transformation focussed environment across the work streams to realise their outcomes and ensure successful delivery of IT programme objectives. This may include direct and indirect project team members across a mixture of permanent and non-permanent resources. Provides clear reporting on plans, dependencies, risks and issues to stakeholders. Providing Information on the impacts of change, anticipating any risks and issues and how they can be mitigated. Uses IT project experience and knowledge to drive the focus on effective and timely delivery of Projects, maintaning Governance and Audit standards. With specific focus on the quality assurance of plans, critical path management, status reporting resourcing, budget and dependency management. Being accountable to the programme manager for delivery to the agreed budget, using escalation paths to highlight and formally agree any change required during delivery. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Leading the coordination and delivery of the PMO under the SAS rationalisation initiative. Working with Data Engineering to define migration scope, data requirements, delivery plans and resource requirements for each area, including acting as an integration point with Sparrow. Managing dependencies across Data Engineering, Architecture and other relevant stakeholder groups. Ensuring senior stakeholder engagement and governance is in place through clear reporting, accountability and resolution of RAID items. Ensuring Coordination and management of resource planning, including FTE and non-FTE suppliers. WHAT YOU’LL BRING Our people are our greatest strength. Professional Experience Proven track record in multiple IT PMO & ideally project management roles, with a great understanding of project management methodologies (including waterfall, agile) and best practices, including business case development, project planning, stakeholder mapping and communication plans (Required) Proven track record on the successful management and mitigation of risks associated to IT project/programme implementation (Required) Experience preparing and delivering reports and presentations to stakeholders including customers and management regarding project status, results and recommendations (Required) An understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and systems relevant to project domain enabling effective collaboration and division making with technical teams (Preferred) Demonstrable knowledge of programme delivery across Business and IT processes (Preferred) Education Prince2 or equivalent Agile / Scrum Master project certifications (Required) Languages English (Required) Hard Skills Delivery Planning (Required) FTE & Non-FTE resource management (Required) RAID Management (Required) Governance Reporting (Required) Soft Skills Stakeholder Management (Required) Verbal & Written Communication (Required) WE VALUE YOUR IMPACT At Santander, your contribution matters. Salary Range: £68,662.00 - £102,994.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
