What is this challenge about
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using modern data processing technologies and programming languages.
- Build and manage scalable data storage architectures, including Data Warehouses and Data Lakes, to support business analytics.
- Implement software engineering best practices throughout the data lifecycle, including version control, peer code reviews, coding standards, and process automation.
- Deploy and manage data solutions across public cloud platforms, ensuring efficient utilization of cloud services.
- Process and manage large-scale data workloads using distributed computing ecosystems and analytics platforms.
What we are looking for
- Practical experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark or equivalent data processing technologies.
- Solid knowledge of data modeling principles and storage concepts, including Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
- Strong knowledge of core software engineering practices, such as code versioning with Git, formal code review procedures, design patterns, and pipeline automation.
- Familiarity operating within public cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with distributed computing ecosystems, ideally including tools such as Hadoop, Apache Hive, Apache Spark, or Databricks.
- Fluency in English.
