Work LikeABosch

• Design, develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models for semiconductor manufacturing data.
• Document manufacturing data assets, metadata and data lineage within the enterprise data catalog.
• Query relational databases and extract metadata from live systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Define and maintain business terms and business glossary together with domain experts and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with corporate data standards, data governance principles, security requirements and applicable semiconductor industry standards (SEMI).
• Conduct structured reviews of data models and metadata together with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data models with business processes and evolving organizational requirements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops to promote the value of data cataloging, data modeling and governance practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data modeling, providing guidance, knowledge sharing and support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improving data quality, metadata management and enterprise data architecture practices.
  
  

• Language: English (mandatory); German language represents an advantage.
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture or similar roles within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on SQL knowledge, including querying relational databases and extracting complex metadata.
• Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling methodologies.
• Experience working with enterprise data cataloging and data modeling tools (e.g. Informatica EDC, Informatica IDMC, Steady, Stardog or similar).
• Good understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management and Data Security principles.
• Experience working within regulated industries; knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and SEMI standards represents an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured working approach and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ownership mindset, proactive attitude and willingness to drive continuous improvement initiatives
