Job Description Summary

This role focuses on aviation fabrication and process engineering for tubes, ducts, and sheet metal parts. It involves supporting manufacturing, Process, quality review, process development, , and defect resolution while ensuring compliance with GE/RR specifications, safety, and environmental standards

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Shall have experience in non-traditional material removal process. Capable of validating and ensuring NM process compliance for RR, GE requirements.
  • Shall have experience in assembly process. Capable of establishing different riveting process and insulation assembly.
  • Shall have experience in 2D and 5-Axis Laser cutting process.
  • SQA reviewer, and flat pattern development according to press output
  • Drafting & Creation of part specific MOS’s
  • Shall have experience in drawing evaluation and providing inputs essential for process establishment
  • Ability to analyse defects, identify root causes and provide efficient solution and implement CAAP.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process like welding, tube bending, forming added advantage.
  • Shall have hands on experience in stainless steel and Inconel tube and sheet fabrication in aviation industry.
  • Working experience with GE Aviation P Specification.
  • Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations
  • Must be familiar with EHS practices inside workshop as well as on site.
  • Understanding of machining practices and familiarity with machine tools, CNC setup, tooling, optical tools, inspection instruments and calibration processes
  • Responsible for NPI follow ups and completion on shop
  • Experience on FARO/blue light scanner

Ideal Candidate:

Strong expertise in aviation tubes, ducts, and sheet metal fabrication, with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality review, process development, and defect resolution.
They should be capable of ensuring compliance with GE/RR specifications, safety, and environmental standards, while supporting efficient and reliable production.



Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Diploma in mechanical, production with minimum of 4-6 years experience in Aviation Tubes and Ducts, Fabrication Industry.
  • Shall have hands on experience in stainless steel and Inconel tube and sheet fabrication in aviation industry.
  • Working experience with GE Aviation P Specification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process like welding, tube bending, forming added advantage.
  • Working experience with GE Aviation P Specification.
