Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Project Manager in overall project leadership, delivery, scheduling, resource management, and client coordination.
  • Lead all traffic engineering activities, including traffic surveys, data collection programs, network analysis, and operational assessments.
  • Direct the development and application of transport models, forecasting tools, and per-formance monitoring frameworks.
  • Manage transport data processing, validation, quality assurance, and integration within the Transport Data Management System (TDMS).
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across traffic engineering, transport planning, GIS, data science, and analytics functions.
  • Lead technical reviews and ensure all traffic engineering deliverables comply with MOT requirements, project standards, and quality procedures.
  • Engage with government agencies, transport operators, and stakeholders to support da-ta sharing, technical coordination, and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, findings, recommendations, and progress up-dates to MOT and project stakeholders.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Traffic Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, or transportation systems projects.
  • Proven experience leading technical delivery on large-scale transport planning, mobility, or transport data management projects.
  • Strong expertise in traffic surveys, traffic impact studies, network operations analysis, and transport performance assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in transport modelling, forecasting, mobility analytics, and KPI development.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and planning teams within complex stakeholder environments.
  • Previous experience working with transport authorities, government agencies, and ma-jor infrastructure programs; GCC experience is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills; bilingual capability is a key requirement for the role.
