Who we are : Hudbay is a Canadian integrated mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals. The Opportunity : We are seeking Development Miners for our Lalor Mine. Lalor Mine is a high-grade, producing underground mine located near Snow Lake, MB. It is a major, long-life operation primarily producing Zinc, Gold, Copper, Silver, with ore processed at the nearby Stall and New Britannia Mills. Schedule : 11.5hr shifts on a 7/7 (Wednesday-Tuesday), schedule rotating dayshift/nightshift. Please note this is not a FIFO opportunity . A fully equipped camp is available for those who prefer to commute to Snow Lake with a quarterly travel allowance provided(some restrictions apply), although relocation and housing accommodation assistance is available for those who wish to relocate to the vibrant community of Snow Lake https://www.snowlake.com/ Responsibilities : Drilling and Blasting Ground Support & Stabilization Mucking & Haulage Installation of Mine Services Safety Compliance Qualifications : Required:Minimum 4 years underground experience Drilling & Bolting: McLean/Mechanic Bolters, Jumbo Drills (One or Two-Boom). Jackleg and Stoper Haulage & Mucking: 10-Yard Scoops, 40-45 ton haulage trucks, and remote mucking systems Compensation : Base Earnings Hourly Rate: $43.14/hr Underground Bonus: Additional $20.00-$25.00 /hr on average Shift Premiums: Weekend Premium: + $1.00/hr Night Shift Premium: + $0.66/hr Profit sharing 100% Employer funded Health Benefits Package starting day 1 of employment 100% Employer funded Defined Benefit Pension Plan Disability Insurance/Employee Assistance Program Fully equipped Camp Travel Allowance(some restrictions apply) Transportation provided to and from site Hudbay is dedicated to providing equitable employment opportunities and encourages applicants of all experience levels to apply.
