We're looking for a highly motivated Diesel Technician to join our crew full-time – someone who enjoys getting hands-on with Caterpillar engines and engine rebuilds. Working in our Engine Bay, you'll be responsible for the servicing, repair, overhaul and rebuild of CAT engines. From diagnosing faults and stripping down components to rebuilding and testing engines, you'll play a key role in keeping Caterpillar equipment performing at its best. ABOUT THE ROLE Key responsibilities of this role include: Servicing, repairing, overhauling and rebuilding Caterpillar engines Diagnosing faults and identifying repair requirements Disassembling, inspecting and reassembling engines and components Operational testing of engines and components following repairs and rebuilds Following Caterpillar and William Adams Standard Operating Procedures Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and complying with all company safety, health & environment procedures Recording service notes and reporting on and test data and fault diagnosis ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role you will have: Experience as a fully qualified Diesel Technician / Heavy Diesel Mechanic Experience working on diesel engines, ideally in an engine rebuild environment Caterpillar experience and knowledge highly desirable Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills A strong commitment to safety and quality WHY JOIN US?
