Job Description
Just imagine building a world-class Early Careers capability that develops the LEGO Group’s talent of the future. Then make it real.
About the role
As the Director, Early Careers, you’ll shape the global ambition, strategy and operating model for Early Careers across the LEGO Group. Spanning office, manufacturing and retail, you’ll create greater connection and consistency while ensuring programmes remain relevant to local talent markets and business needs. You’ll build the capability needed to turn the strategy into lasting impact.
Please note: Relocation support is available for this role.
Required Qualifications
· Led an Early Careers/Emerging Talent function in a large global matrix organisation across multiple countries and pathways.
· Designed, established or transformed an Early Careers strategy and operating model at scale.
· Connected Early Careers programmes to future workforce and skills needs using data, market insight and programme outcomes.
· Built teams and influenced senior stakeholders across functions, geographies and markets.
· Connected Early Careers with employer brand, talent attraction, education partnerships or outreach.
Preferred Qualifications
· Delivered programme design, development, rotations, conversion, retention or progression into longer-term talent pipelines.
What you'll build
· Establish a clear and connected global Early Careers strategy and roadmap linked to future workforce and skills priorities.
· Map existing programmes, demand and investment across markets.
· Define the operating model, governance, measures of success and global versus local ownership.
· Determine the team and capability required to deliver the strategy.
· Identify priority opportunities for a connected global approach.
If you've worked in a role where you built or transformed an Early Careers capability, you'll feel at home here. Translating workforce needs into a coherent strategy and operating model will be key.
Life on the team
The newly formed Early Careers function sits within Talent, Culture & Organisation (TC&O), with the ambition to build sustainable future-talent pipelines and create meaningful experiences for emerging talent. You’ll shape the culture and capability of the function as it grows, bringing a builder mindset, taking practical action through ambiguity and creating an inclusive environment where teams share, test, learn and improve.
What success looks like
You’ll master building while delivering in a complex global organisation where programmes, education systems and business needs differ by country. Over the next 12 months, you’ll establish the foundations for scale and connect Early Careers more closely to future talent and skills needs. You’ll build strong collaboration across the organisation, including with Talent Acquisition, Strategic Workforce Planning, People Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employer Brand and business leaders, as well as key external partners.
