What you will do
Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Services, you will provide leadership for the Bank's Facilities Services function, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Bank's physical infrastructure and workplaces. You will oversee a multi-million-dollar portfolio of operations, maintenance, capital investments and service delivery programs that support the Bank's critical operations and employees across Canada.
As a member of the Corporate Services leadership team, you will play a key role in advancing operational excellence, organizational resilience, employee experience, sustainability objectives and long-term stewardship of the Bank's physical assets.
In addition, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Bank’s facilities services, workplace operations and property portfolio, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable service delivery across owned and leased spaces.
- Oversee facilities operations, maintenance programs, vendor performance and service delivery models to support a high-quality workplace experience and the effective operation of critical environments.
- Lead medium- and long-term planning for facilities services, including operational priorities, lifecycle management, workplace strategies, policies and investment planning.
- Manage budgets, work plans, performance measures and service levels, ensuring effective stewardship of resources and alignment with corporate priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, service providers and external partners to deliver facilities services that meet evolving business needs.
What you need to succeed
You are a strategic thinker and an experienced leader who can balance long-term planning with operational excellence.
You have:
- Significant leadership experience in facilities management, workplace services, property management, engineering, building operations, real estate, or a related field.
- Experience leading large and complex operational portfolios, including multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align facilities investments and services with organizational priorities.
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and developing a culture of engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
- People leadership with a proven ability to build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing external service providers and complex contractual relationships.
- Experience applying risk management, governance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement practices.
- A client-focused mindset and a commitment to service excellence.
Nice-to-have
- Experience overseeing critical infrastructure or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience working in a highly regulated or public-sector environment.
Your education and experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, facilities management, business administration, project management, real estate, or a related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in facilities management, property management, engineering, building operations, infrastructure management, workplace services, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $177,681 to $209,037 (job grade 20)
- The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
