Director of Nursing

Description Hillside a retirement community nestled in Willamette Valley that marries the peaceful, small-town way of life with the sophistication of wine country, is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for its 20-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Under limited supervision, the DON plans, directs, organizes, and evaluates nursing services to meet the total needs of the community's residents; ensures an efficient health facility operation in cooperation with other departments and in compliance with state and federal regulations; and provides care in accordance with our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.” Salary: $130,000 to $160,000/year Depending on Experience ( $5000 relocation assistance available ) Potential to bonus up to 15% annually To be successful in this role you would have: Completed an Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN) Current Oregon RN license BS Degree, Masters’ Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experience Minimum of 3 – 5 years of professional management experience in related field Outstanding leadership, clinical observation, and assessment skills Excellent computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members Current CPR certification What's in it for you?
