The SEO Solutions Lead is a key member of the Digital Quality (DQ) Solution Center, which delivers the solutions that transform Quality, Safety and Environmental Operations (QSEO) within Pfizer Global Supply (PGS). The role is accountable for the strategy, technical delivery and lifecycle management of the solutions and tools that enable the transformation of the Safety and Environment Operations (SEO) space across Pfizer. The role is global in scope, spanning the PGS network, R&D, commercial markets and corporate locations.

The role is the key Digital and Technology partner to the Vice President, SEO, and a core member of the leadership team delivering the OneEHS transformation. The incumbent translates the future-state EHS operating model into scalable, connected and compliant digital capabilities, and is accountable for the technical delivery that makes the transformation real at site level.

The incumbent holds product management accountability for the SEO/EHS solution portfolio, together with scaled artificial intelligence (AI) enablement across the EHS portfolio. Delivery is executed in close partnership with the Platform and Solution Engineering team and the Digital Quality Scaled Solution & AI Architect, so that solutions are built on common architecture, data, AI and cyber security standards rather than as point solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

Solution Strategy & Technical Delivery

  • Own the solution strategy, technical roadmap and deployment roadmap for the SEO/EHS digital portfolio, aligned to Pfizer's EHS strategy, the OneEHS target operating model and Digital investment priorities.
  • Accountable for all Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) activities across the portfolio, from demand shaping and design through build, configuration, validation, deployment, hypercare and lifecycle management.
  • Establish delivery commitments, value measures and success metrics; report progress, risk and value realization to Digital and SEO leadership and relevant governance forums.

OneEHS Transformation Partnership

  • Serve as the key Digital and Technology partner to the VP, SEO and to the OneEHS transformation leadership team, representing digital feasibility, sequencing, cost and risk in programmed decision making.
  • Translate future-state EHS processes into a rationalized and harmonized digital capability set, retiring legacy and site-bespoke tools and standardizing global processes onto core platforms.
  • Lead the technical elements of transformation delivery, including data migration, integration, site deployment sequencing and cutover, partnering with the business change team to enable adoption and sustained use at the plants.

SEO Product Portfolio Management

  • Provide product management leadership across the SEO/EHS solution portfolio.
  • Balance global standardization with legitimate site, divisional and country-specific regulatory requirements; own configuration standards, release adoption and solution Communities of Practice across the portfolio.
  • Influence vendor product roadmaps and hold suppliers to account for product quality, roadmap commitments and service performance.

Scaled AI Enablement

  • Define and deliver scaled AI and agentic AI enablement across the EHS portfolio, for example incident and observation triage, leading-indicator prediction, automated regulatory and safety data sheet content generation, permit and risk-assessment support, and conversational access to EHS standards and procedures.
  • Partner with the Digital Quality Scaled AI Architect to build AI capabilities on common architecture patterns, reusable components and enterprise AI platforms, maximizing reuse across the QSEO portfolio.
  • Ensure responsible and compliant deployment of AI in partnership with Digital, Legal, Privacy, Compliance and EHS stakeholders, including human oversight, model monitoring and appropriate handling of worker and occupational health data.

Portfolio, Financial & Vendor Management

  • Manage solution and project deliverables, timelines and budget for the SEO/EHS portfolio, including business cases and investment recommendations.
  • Prioritize work and manage capacity and demand across internal and external teams to deliver value against business needs.

Organizational Leadership

  • Lead and develop a global team of Product Managers, Product Owners, delivery leads and EHS domain experts, alongside matrixed engineering, validation and contract Develop talent across levels within the direct team and partnering groups, and build product management and technical delivery capability, talent pipelines and succession plans.
  • Demonstrate and promote agile ways of working, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement and customer-centric product delivery across the broader Digital Quality and QSEO organization.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Ensure solutions are maintained in a compliant state in accordance with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) guidelines, EHS regulatory reporting obligations, data integrity, data privacy and cyber security requirements.
  • Ensure strong solution and project governance practices are in place; maintain audit and inspection readiness and support internal audits, regulatory inspections and external EHS, safety and sustainability disclosure and assurance requirements.
  • Balance pace of innovation with regulatory compliance through effective governance and risk management.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 7 years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience.
  • Degree required in Information Technology, Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading, mentoring and coaching product and delivery teams, together with matrix leadership of engineering, validation, data and vendor resources.
  • Experience across all stages of the system and application lifecycle, from value analysis and business case development through solution deployment to value realization.
  • Knowledge of financial management and procurement activities, with the ability to manage complex budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE (Preferred Requirements)

  • Relevant experience in global digital solution delivery, product management or technology transformation, including experience in EHS domains; pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with Agile ways of working; SAFe preferred.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing EHS platforms such as Cority, Enablon, WERCS, PHA-Pro or electronic permit-to-work solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SEO/EHS business processes, including incident and observation management, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, chemical and product stewardship, and environmental and sustainability reporting.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale business transformation and process harmonization.
  • SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager or equivalent product management certification.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports into Pfizer Digital, PGS, Enabling Functions & Enterprise Platforms - Quality Solutions Lead.

Key business stakeholders in Pfizer Global Supply include but are not limited to the VP SEO (OneEHS transformation) and global and site EHS leadership across the PGS network.

External: strategic EHS software vendors and implementation and managed service partners.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Annual portfolio accountability of approximately $10M across software, services and transformation investment.

SUPERVISION
Direct leadership of approximately seven colleagues, including Product Managers, Product Owners, delivery leads and EHS domain experts.

Accountability for external partner and managed service relationships, including contract resources working on SEO/EHS projects under the colleague's leadership.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
