Electrical Superintendent | up to $175,000

Overview

Our client is a nationally recognized electrical contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects across the healthcare, mission critical, commercial, aviation, residential, advanced technology and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead field operations on large-scale electrical construction projects while working alongside an experienced leadership team on some of the region's most technically challenging developments.

What You'll Do

• Lead all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and project turnover.
• Manage General Foremen, Foremen, field engineers and electrical craft personnel to safely deliver projects on schedule.
• Coordinate daily field operations, manpower planning and work sequencing to achieve project milestones.
• Develop and maintain short and long-term look-ahead schedules in collaboration with the Project Management team.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment and workforce requirements to support project execution.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with project drawings, specifications, NEC requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate electrical activities with general contractors, owners, design consultants and other trade partners.
• Lead daily planning meetings, safety briefings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor productivity, quality and schedule performance while identifying opportunities to improve field operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Support commissioning activities, system testing and final project turnover.
• Maintain accurate field documentation, daily reports and progress tracking.
• Mentor Foremen and field personnel while developing the next generation of field leadership.

Experience

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Senior General Foreman or General Foreman with an electrical contractor.
• Experience delivering one or more of the following project types: Healthcare, Commercial, Aviation, Residential, Mission Critical / Data Centers, Design-Build
• Proven ability to lead large field teams and manage multiple subcontractors on fast-paced construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, power distribution systems and project sequencing.
• A stable employment history with progressive career growth is preferred.
• Journeyman License or Master License in Virginia or Maryland.
