Role Description
The Electrical Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Oman. The Electrical Supervisor will oversee daily electrical operations, including planning, assigning, and supervising work for technicians and electricians on maintenance, repairs, and installations. Responsibilities include ensuring safe work practices, inspecting electrical equipment and systems, diagnosing faults, coordinating preventive maintenance, and verifying that all work complies with relevant codes and standards. The role also involves maintaining documentation, reporting on project progress, collaborating with other departments, and supporting continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, performance monitoring, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of electricity principles and practical application in power distribution and control systems.
- Background in electrical engineering and familiarity with design, installation, and testing of electrical installations.
- Proficiency in working with electrical equipment, such as switchgear, motors, panels, and protective devices.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certifications in electrical safety or supervision are an advantage.
- Knowledge of international and local electrical standards, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment, and readiness to relocate or work on-site in Oman.
