At PEK Automotive we develop and manufacture autonomous electric vehicles and robotic systems used in agriculture, rescue operations and other demanding outdoor environments.

We are looking for an Electronics Development Engineer who enjoys turning ideas into working hardware and wants to see their designs tested on real autonomous machines.

Unlike many engineering roles, your work will move quickly from schematic to prototype and into field testing. You will work with Radar units, GNNS units, BLDC drivers, BMS units and Hinged Equipment controllers.

What you will work on:

• Development of testing and diagnostic equipment for electronic boards and modules

• Design of wiring systems and electrical architectures for autonomous electric machines

• Development and prototyping of electronic components and assemblies

• PCB schematic design and PCB layout development (up to 4 layers)

• Preparation of manufacturing documentation for PCB and PCBA production

• Build complete wiring harness documentation to map out connections across the entire machine, from central controllers to individual sensors, motors, and peripherals.

• Bring-up, testing and debugging of first PCB prototypes

• Collaboration with software, mechanical design and manufacturing teams throughout product development

• Supporting development of next-generation autonomous robotic vehicles

What we are looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in electronics development

• Good understanding of analog and digital electronics

• Experience with PCB schematic design and PCB layout

• Experience debugging electronic circuits and prototypes

• Good command of English

• Ability to work independently and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with embedded systems or microcontrollers

• Experience with CAN bus, industrial communication protocols or automotive electronics

• Experience developing electronics for robotics, industrial equipment or vehicles
