We are partnered with a rapidly growing critical infrastructure company developing complex electrical and electromechanical systems for data centers.

They’re looking for an Embedded Test Engineer to be the first hire into this brand new function to strengthen testing across their electromechanical systems. It’s a hands-on role combining product validation, embedded software and firmware testing, and test automation, with the opportunity to help build out the testing function from the ground up.

*candidates must be a US Citizens or Greencard holders

Responsibilities 🔨

• Test complete electromechanical systems across hardware, embedded controls and software.
• Perform product validation, functional and system-level testing.
• Develop and execute test plans across both physical hardware and software.
• Identify, reproduce and document bugs, faults and unexpected system behavior.
• Test and debug embedded systems using JTAG, I2C, SPI and UART.
• Help develop and automate repeatable hardware and software testing processes.

Qualifications 📑

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
• MIN 2+ years’ experience testing electromechanical systems, with hands-on experience across both hardware and software testing (must have).
• Software testing experience with a scripting/programming language such as Python, Bash, C or C++
• Hands-on experience using JTAG, I2C, SPI and UART for embedded system testing and debugging (must have).
• Experience testing, debugging and identifying software bugs within embedded or electromechanical products.

Nice to Haves

• Experience testing power distribution equipment
