About The Role
Comprising KEVIN.MURPHY, KEVIN.MURPHY FRANCE, KEVIN.MURPHY GERMANY, KEVIN.MURPHY MID-ATLANTIC, KEVIN.MURPHY CANADA EAST and SHOWPONY, we are a global leader in hair care, sold in over 65 countries, with a team of more than 300 passionate professionals.
Position Overview:
As a KEVIN.MURPHY Colour & Style Educator, you will inspire, educate and develop our global community of stylists and KEYs, with a strong focus on growing the KEVIN.MURPHY colour business. Through education, events, digital content and distributor partnerships, you will build confidence in our colour portfolio, elevate technical capability, drive style and care and support commercial colour growth across the region while representing the brand at the highest standard.
We are highly interested in candidates from France, Germany or Denmark however for the right candidate relocation packages would be availble.
Top 5 Priorities for Success in this Role
1. Grow the Colour Business – Deliver exceptional colour and styling education that builds confidence, increases adoption of KEVIN.MURPHY COLOUR and supports sales growth.
2. Develop the KEY Community – Train, mentor and support KEYs through Academy programs, TRAIN.ME and ongoing coaching.
3. Support Distributor Success – Partner with distributors through education, launches, events and market support to strengthen capability and business performance.
4. Contribute to Global Education – Provide regional insights, assist with new program development, test products and create digital education and social content.
5. Represent the Brand – Be a professional ambassador for KEVIN.MURPHY across all education, shows, events and industry opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver KEVIN.MURPHY Colour and Style education across Academy classes, TRAIN.ME, distributor events and online learning.
• Train and mentor KEYs from Gold to Diamond level, providing ongoing support and maintaining the KEY Tracker.
• Support the growth of KEVIN.MURPHY COLOUR through education that increases stylist confidence and colour service adoption.
• Collaborate with the Global Colour team on new programs, education content and regional feedback.
• Create digital education assets, social content and product demonstrations to support global initiatives.
• Represent KEVIN.MURPHY at distributor events, launches, shows and industry opportunities, including Fashion Week where required.
• Support key education programs including SESSION.SALON, COLOUR.HIGHER and 360° Colour.
• Work collaboratively with regional and global teams to ensure consistent, high-quality education delivery.
• Always identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, stylist engagement and colour sales.
• Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
• 10+ years' experience in the professional hairdressing industry, with strong technical expertise in colour.
• 5+ years’ experience in a colour educator position.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience using project management platforms such as Asana (or similar).
• A collaborative team player with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative.
• Based within easy access of a major international airport, with the flexibility to travel for up to three weeks per month.
