We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team, playing a vital role in delivering urgent care to our community. *********New Graduates Welcome************ Delphi Healthcare has a program to help jump start your career We are looking for a motivated and experienced Physician Assistant to provide high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced, rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute conditions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and ordering/interpretation of diagnostic tests. Formulate differential diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform emergency medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and airway management. Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health measures. Participate in emergency response efforts, including trauma care and resuscitation procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State. Prior experience in emergency medicine is strongly preferred. Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
