Glace Bay Hospital (GBH) is an acute care facility that serves Glace Bay and surrounding areas. It is one of the community hospitals that operate as part of a four-hospital complex that includes New Waterford Consolidated, Northside General, and the Cape Breton Regional hospitals. Located in Glace Bay , GBH provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care. It has 44 acute care beds and 18 long-term care beds house in the facility’s transitional care unit.
