Introduction to the job

For the Production Control team within the Work Preparation group in the DUV Tables business line, we are looking for your support at the earliest possible start date. Working closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Development, Procurement, and Quality Assurance, you ensure that production processes run smoothly and that all required production data is accurate, available, and continuously improved.


We are looking for a colleague to join our team as a Manufacturing Preparation Specialist for a one-year parental leave cover.


Role and responsibilities

  • Work plans & bills of materials: Create and maintain work plans, bills of materials, and manufacturing-related master data in SAP.
  • Master data management: Maintain and optimize material, warehouse, workplace, and production master data as well as inspection plans.
  • Production documentation & material readiness: Ensure the availability of all required production documentation, materials, and manufacturing data.
  • Inventory & material management: Monitor inventory levels, optimize storage areas, and ensure material availability for production.
  • Cost monitoring & reporting: Support manufacturing cost calculations and provide relevant data for operational and business decisions.
  • Continuous improvement & projects: Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to manufacturing, SAP, and optimization projects.
  • Procurement & production support: Support material procurement, first article tracking, inventory activities, and other production-related tasks.

Education and experience

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or have an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
  • You bring relevant experience in manufacturing preparation, production planning, manufacturing organization, or logistics.
  • You have solid SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP and MM modules.
  • You are confident using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • You have experience working with manufacturing data, production processes, and material flows.
  • You are familiar with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Für den Bereich Produktionsservice in der Gruppe Arbeitsvorbereitung innerhalb des Geschäftsbereichs DUV Tables suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt deine Unterstützung. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Fertigung, Manufacturing Engineering, Entwicklung, Einkauf und Quality Assurance stellst du sicher, dass Produktionsdaten aktuell, vollständig und belastbar sind. Gleichzeitig trägst du dazu bei, Abläufe kontinuierlich zu verbessern und die Fertigung optimal zu unterstützen.


Wir suchen eine:n Kolleg:in, die unser Team als Mitarbeiter:in in der Arbeitsvorbereitung im Rahmen einer einjährigen Elternzeitvertretung verstärkt.


Deine Aufgaben

  • Arbeitspläne & Stücklisten: Du erstellst und pflegst Arbeitspläne, Stücklisten und Fertigungshilfsmittel in SAP.
  • Stammdatenmanagement: Du pflegst und optimierst Material-, Lager-, Arbeitsplatz- und Fertigungsstammdaten sowie Prüfpläne.
  • Produktionsunterlagen & Materialverfügbarkeit: Du stellst sicher, dass alle erforderlichen Produktionsunterlagen, Materialien und Fertigungsdaten zur Verfügung stehen.
  • Lager- & Materialmanagement: Du überwachst Materialbestände, optimierst Lagerflächen und stellst die Materialverfügbarkeit sicher.
  • Kosten- & Datenanalyse: Du unterstützt bei der Ermittlung von Herstellkosten und stellst relevante Daten für operative Entscheidungen bereit.
  • Prozessverbesserungen & Projekte: Du analysierst bestehende Abläufe, identifizierst Verbesserungspotenziale und wirkst an Fertigungs-, SAP- und Optimierungsprojekten mit.
  • Beschaffung & Produktionssupport: Du unterstützt bei der Materialbeschaffung, Erstauftragsverfolgung, Inventuren und weiteren produktionsnahen Aktivitäten.

Deine Qualifikationen

  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium mit Bachelorabschluss in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Produktionstechnik, Maschinenbau oder einem vergleichbaren technischen Bereich oder verfügst über eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit relevanter Berufserfahrung.
  • Du bringst erste Erfahrung in der Arbeitsvorbereitung, Produktionsplanung, Fertigungsorganisation oder Logistik mit.
  • Du verfügst über gute SAP-Kenntnisse, insbesondere in den Modulen PP und MM.
  • Du arbeitest sicher mit MS Office, insbesondere mit Excel.
  • Du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit Stammdaten, Produktionsprozessen und Materialflüssen.
  • Du kennst Lean-Prinzipien und Methoden der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung.
  • Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
