About the role

You will join our Singapore desk and contribute to the development of our Australian white certificate business, starting with Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program. Your technical skills will be key to guiding our partners through their energy efficiency projects and turning them into certificates. Ideally, one month of training is required at our offices in La Défense, near Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Identify energy efficiency activities eligible for VEECs, and assess opportunities under adjacent schemes (NSW ESS/ESCs, PDRS/PRCs)
• Advise clients and installation partners on which upgrades to pursue
• Calculate energy savings and expected certificate volumes across deemed and project-based activities
• Provide technical support to the commercial and trading teams
• Follow the full certification process through to certificate creation and assignment
• Track regulatory developments (ESC guidelines, new and amended activities, method changes) and translate them into commercial implications for the desk

Requirements

• Fluent English; another Asian or European language is a plus
• Based in Singapore or willing to relocate
• On-site presence at the office every day
• Eligible to work in Singapore, or open to visa sponsorship

About you

• Engineering degree in energy, mechanical, electrical, HVAC or building services
• Genuine interest in energy efficiency and environmental markets
• Comfortable with measurement & verification logic, calculation methodologies and spreadsheet modelling
• Experience in consulting, ESCO, HVAC or energy efficiency is valued
• Open to occasional travel to Australia
