Engineering Manager – Mechanical Focus
Location: Central Kentucky
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000

We are partnering with a growing robotics and industrial automation company seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small mechanical engineering team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while developing and mentoring others.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a small mechanical engineering team
- Provide technical direction for custom robotics and automation systems
- Oversee mechanical design from concept through build and implementation
- Serve as a technical resource for engineers, customers, and internal teams
- Review designs, troubleshoot challenges, and improve engineering processes
- Collaborate with controls, manufacturing, project management, and leadership
- Help maintain project schedules and engineering standards
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
- Robotics and industrial automation experience required
- Previous engineering leadership or team lead experience
- Strong custom machine/system design background
- Automation integrator experience strongly preferred
- SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD experience
- Automotive automation experience is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Engineering degree preferred; significant relevant experience will be considered
