Director – Enterprise Security Architecture


Global Telecoms | Netherlands | Executive Security Leadership


A leading global telecoms organisation is looking for a Director of Enterprise Security Architecture to set and shape security architecture across the entire Group and its operating companies.


This is a strategic Enterprise Security Architect / thought leadership position, responsible for defining the enterprise security strategy, reference architectures, standards and secure-by-design guardrails across cloud, identity, network, applications, data, AI and emerging technologies.


The role will also lead and develop an established team of senior Security Architects and work closely with Group Security, technology leadership and OpCo stakeholders.


Candidates will need significant enterprise security architecture experience and the ability to operate from executive-level strategy through to detailed technical design.


There will be occasional hands-on involvement across architecture reviews, threat modelling and technical challenge, but the core focus is setting the Group-wide direction. Strong GCP security knowledge is essential, alongside broader expertise across AWS/Azure, IAM/PAM, Zero Trust, network security, application security, DevSecOps, data security and AI security. Knowledge of frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, NIST and ISO 27001 is highly desirable.

Relocation packages available for EU Citizens. the role requires 4 days a week onsite in the Netherlands.
