Entry-level logistics coordinator (Bilingual in Mandarin)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Entry-level Logistics Coordinator role based in Elk Grove Village, IL. The coordinator will assist with daily logistics operations, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and monitoring freight movements for imports and exports. Responsibilities include communicating with carriers, customers, and internal teams to track shipments, resolve delays or issues, and ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role involves maintaining organized records, updating systems with shipment status, and supporting basic data entry and reporting for logistics activities. The coordinator will also collaborate with bilingual team members and clients, using Mandarin and English to handle inquiries and documentation as needed.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing documents, entering data, and tracking shipment information.
• Basic understanding or interest in logistics, supply chain, or international trade (prior internship or coursework is a plus).
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, email) and ability to learn logistics or ERP systems.
• Collaborative mindset, reliability, and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to commute daily to Elk Grove Village, IL.
