This is your chance to step into a pivotal role as an Environmental Manager at a new plant in Defiance, Ohio. In this role, you will take charge of developing, managing, and maintaining compliance with all environmental programs. Your leadership will be crucial as you coach, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship. You bring at least five years of environmental experience in manufacturing, with a solid foundation in wastewater, stormwater, permitting, air quality, and waste management.

Initially, you will work from home for the first three months, during which you will travel to other plants in South Carolina and Pennsylvania for three out of four weeks each month. After this period, you will transition to Defiance, Ohio, where you will continue to lead your team and drive compliance initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the development and implementation of environmental programs that align with regulatory requirements and company goals.

- Ensuring that all environmental practices meet local, state, and federal regulations.

- Collaborating with various departments to promote environmental awareness and best practices.

- Conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are taken.

- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on environmental performance metrics.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in environmental management within a manufacturing setting.

- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members.

- Expertise in environmental regulations and compliance, particularly in wastewater, stormwater, air quality, and waste management.

- A willingness to travel extensively during the initial phase and relocate to Defiance, Ohio, thereafter.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 per year, along with full benefits and relocation assistance.
