Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates relocating 50+ miles. *Must be within 30 mins call radius* Position: EP Charge Lab RN Patient Population: Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Vascular patients Status: Full Time Days Shift: 4/10 Hour Days Call Requirements: One day a week and one weekend every six weeks. Must be within 30min call radius. Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND 1 year of Charge experience Patient Ratios: Cath/RP team comprised of RN’s and Rad Techs working in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care, collaborating with the proceduralist and anesthesia providers. Job Summary The Catheter Lab RN Charge manages patient care delivery. This includes supervising, evaluating, and customizing care plans. The Charge Nurse is accountable for patient care. The nurse ensures safety, delegates tasks, and accepts responsibilities willingly. Essential Functions of the Role Execute informed health assessments whilst prioritizing both patient and family needs. Craft, commence, reassess, and amend patient care plans according to clinical outcomes. Support practices that integrate relief, healing, and alleviate unnecessary suffering. Adapt your approach to respect the diversity of patients, embracing their unique needs when formulating care plans. Safeguard patients, standing up for their confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights, passionately representing their concerns. Educate a variety of stakeholders about healthcare processes, documentation techniques, learning opportunities, and outcomes. Join teams with colleagues and the broader community when deploying comprehensive care plans. Adapt a holistic view for problem-solving, employing all available resources. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited nursing education program. Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND 1 year of Charge experience A Registered Nurse (RN) Must also have certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). If not certified yet, acquire these within (30) thirty days of employment.
