The Executive - Global PCS FP&A Leader will be responsible for all financial planning and reporting of the Patient Care Solutions segment ($3B global business). This includes external reporting, budget/long-term strategy, structuring/implementing segment operating mechanisms, and partnering with PCS CEO/staff to enable decision making. Roles and Responsibilities:
Own the preparation process in the lead up to GEHC Earnings including preparation of the IR Script, relevant back up materials & preparation of Q&A for earnings.
Partner with the PCS Lean Leader to drive the PCS Segment Operating Reviews (SOR) and close reviews. Prepare GEHC CEO/CFO monthly operating review material for PCS
Lead 3-year long term strategy and financial plan to deliver organic growth, margin and cash in line business expectations. Build detailed analysis and backups in preparation for financial reviews.
Lead annual budget process for the PCS segment, which includes coordinating with regions and product P&L on growth targets, and lead investment/capital allocation decision making
Support PCS sub-segment Finance team with centralized reporting capabilities that drive greater visibility to financial and operational metrics. Invest in improving reporting processes through automation.
Analyze data of key competitors & customers to provide relative market comparisons & put the performance of Patient Care Solutions in context.
Develop reliable monthly and quarter estimates of order, sales to EBIT
Track segment financial estimates and measure performance against externally communicated financial guidance; proactively identify any points of variation & partner with group FP&A and Investor Relations team on how to address accordingly
Understand market trends, opinions, and reactions to Patient Care Solutions industry and competitors and provide strategic insights that will help inform senior management investment, operating, and financial decisions
Lead the professional development of the 7 professionals on the team. Create an atmosphere of inclusivity across the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance (or graduate of financial leadership program with 7-year experience).
Demonstrated ability to work in team-environment.
Proven experience with merger & acquisitions and other complex transactions.
Ability to communicate financial performance, business insights, and strategic recommendations to Patient Care Solutions finance team (e.g. CFO, FP&A Leader, etc.) and other senior leadership (e.g. Patient Care Solutions CEO, Segment GMs, etc.).
Ability to build/create new processes that can be automated/repeatable and comfortable navigating financial/non-financial ERPs (e.g. Hyperion, Essebase, Oracle, etc.).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lead a team, set a strategic vision for the Income team and driving employee development.
Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
