An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced and accomplished nursing leader to take on a dual-site Executive Officer / Director of Nursing position across two established rural health services on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.

This ongoing, full-time role offers the opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership, strengthen nursing practice, develop high-performing teams and directly influence the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare within close-knit rural communities.

About the Role

As Executive Officer / Director of Nursing, you will provide senior leadership across two rural health services delivering a diverse range of acute, emergency, aged care, community and other healthcare services.

You will work closely with clinical teams, executives and local stakeholders to ensure services continue to meet the evolving needs of their communities.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing strategic and operational leadership across nursing and health services
Championing safe, high-quality and patient-centred care
Leading workforce development, innovation and continuous improvement
Supporting and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams
Fostering a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
Leading and supporting organisational and clinical change
Building strong relationships with clinicians, executives, stakeholders and local communities

About You

We are seeking an experienced nursing leader who brings a strong combination of clinical leadership, strategic thinking and operational management.

Demonstrate senior nursing leadership experience
Bring strong strategic, operational and people-management capabilities
Confidently lead change and service improvement in complex healthcare environments
Build strong relationships and achieves outcomes through collaboration
Passionate about supporting rural communities and strengthening local healthcare delivery

What’s on Offer?

RN/M6.2 – $158,554 per annum
