Responsibilities: Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc. Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster) Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools Apply varnish and other finishes Calculate costs and negotiate prices Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions Qualifications: Proven experience as a painter Excellent knowledge of painting materials and how to select, mix and apply them Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.) Good basic math skills Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc. Conscientious with great attention to detail High school diploma; successful completion of an apprenticeship Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License Benefits: Full Time Team Members (30+ hours) will enjoy the following benefits and perks: Paid Time Off 6 Observed Holidays and Holiday Pay Health Benefit Insurance Package after 90 days includes: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, 401k with company match Relocation Reimbursement Part Time and Full Time Team Members (TMs) will enjoy the following benefits and perks: 1 Free Hot Meal per shift and Unlimited Drinks Up to 48 hours of Sick Pay for Team Members Under 30 hrs per Week 80% Subsidized Bus Transportation Options Free Covered Parking Education/Tuition/Certification Reimbursement (up to $6,000 per calendar year) Wardrobe/Uniforms and Dry Cleaning Provided Free of Charge for most positions Career Development and Advancement Programs Team Member Anniversary Recognition (earn resort credit, vacation trips and more!)
