What you will do
- Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at an assigned health center.
- Deliver preventive care, wellness services, and acute and chronic disease management.
- Manage a patient panel of approximately 800–1,000 patients.
- Conduct extended 30–60-minute appointments and build strong provider-patient relationships.
- Use electronic medical records and population management tools to improve clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with at least two Advanced Practice Providers and other interdisciplinary professionals.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited medical school and complete residency in Family Practice, or Internal Medicine plus Pediatrics.
- Board certification or eligibility with intent to certify.
- Active state medical license required.
- CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
- DEA registration preferred; a dispensing license may be required under state regulations.
- Work onsite in Bakersfield, California.
