Solid understanding of Power Electronics, Electric Power Systems, Medium Voltage, battery chemistry fundamentals, and power conversion topologies. Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS), power conversion systems (PCS), and energy management systems (EMS). Knowledge of transformers (MV/HV), protection relays, and switchgear commissioning and testing. Familiarity with SCADA systems and communications protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, DNP3, IEC 61850). Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Good literacy in at least one computer programming language. Hands-on experience with test instruments (recorders, power analysers, oscilloscopes, insulation resistance, HI pot, battery impedance testers, etc.). Willing to travel including distant in-country or abroad for extended commissioning periods and with short notice in advance.
