About The Role
As a Removalist Driver with Kent, you’ll be responsible for the safe transport of our customers’ household and commercial belongings while delivering a professional and positive customer experience.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Safely operating removalist vehicles and completing required vehicle checks
- Loading, securing, transporting and unloading household and commercial goods
- Taking care to protect customers’ belongings throughout the moving process
- Working closely with removalist offsiders and the operations team
- Completing relevant transport and job documentation
- Following Kent’s safety procedures and safe work practices
- Providing friendly, professional service to our customers
- Assisting with the physical requirements of removals, including lifting, carrying and moving furniture and other household items
Early starts and travel may form part of the role depending on the branch and jobs scheduled.
About You
We’re looking for people who know how to get the job done safely and take pride in providing great service.
You’ll Ideally Bring
- Previous experience as a removalist driver, furniture removalist or professional truck driver
- A current MR driver licence or licence appropriate to the vehicles you’ll be operating
- A strong commitment to safe driving and safe manual handling
- Confidence working in a physically active role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A willingness to relocate from New Zealand to Australia
