About Admax Gabions and Metal Industries
Admax Gabions and Metal Industries is a growing manufacturing company specializing in gabions, fencing, wire and metal products.
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance & Cost Control Manager – Manufacturing to take responsibility for our financial management, accounting, costing, inventory control and related operational controls.
This is a key management position requiring someone who can understand both the financial numbers and the manufacturing operations behind those numbers.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with Management, Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Sales to ensure strong financial controls, accurate costing, effective inventory management and improved operational profitability.
We are looking for a commercially minded professional who can go beyond traditional accounting and actively identify cost leakage, wastage, inventory issues and opportunities to improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
- Supervise general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year-end closing.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial commitments.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls.
- Review accounting entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks and other financial institutions.
Cost Control & Manufacturing Costing:
- Develop and maintain accurate product and production costing.
- Calculate and monitor the cost of raw materials, labour, overheads and production.
- Analyze actual vs. standard/budgeted costs and investigate variances.
- Monitor raw-material consumption against production output.
- Track production wastage, scrap and material losses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the manufacturing process.
- Analyze product/project profitability and provide recommendations to management.
- Establish effective cost-control procedures across production and procurement.
Inventory Management:
- Take responsibility for financial control of raw materials, consumables, WIP and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory records in the ERP/accounting system.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Coordinate regular physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess and obsolete inventory.
- Monitor inventory turnover and working capital.
- Work closely with Warehouse, Procurement and Production to improve inventory efficiency.
Audit, Tax & Compliance:
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Respond to auditor queries and follow up on audit findings.
- Ensure proper accounting records and financial documentation are maintained.
- Support compliance with applicable UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and other financial/regulatory requirements.
- Identify and strengthen weaknesses in financial and operational controls.
Operations & Management Reporting:
- Work closely with production and operations to monitor financial and operational performance.
- Establish and monitor key financial and manufacturing KPIs.
- Review purchasing costs and supplier pricing.
- Monitor production efficiency and material utilization.
- Provide management with timely and accurate financial and operational reports.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Support management in business planning, budgeting and decision-making.
Key KPIs:
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and maintaining:
- Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
- Accurate product and production costing
- Inventory accuracy
- Reduction of material wastage and production losses
- Cost and production variance control
- Working capital and cash-flow management
- Timely completion of monthly closing
- Audit readiness and compliance
- Purchasing and procurement cost control
- Quality of management reporting
- Overall improvement in manufacturing profitability
Candidate Requirements:
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and auditing.
- Proven experience in product costing, production costing and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience working with production, procurement and warehouse teams.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and management reporting skills.
- UAE/GCC manufacturing experience is preferred.
- CMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can understand:
Raw Material → Production → Wastage → Inventory → Product Cost → Sales Price → Gross Profit → Cash Flow
You should be comfortable working both with financial reports in the office and with production, warehouse and procurement teams on the factory floor.
You should be proactive, analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to identify problems, investigate their causes and implement practical solutions.
Compensation
AED 10,000 – 15,000 per month, depending on experience, qualifications and relevant manufacturing background.
In addition, the company will provide benefits in accordance with company policy and a performance-based annual bonus linked to agreed KPIs.
