Finance Internship - Summer 2027 (Finance)

Job description

Location: Medina, Minnesota, USA; potential placements in Plymouth, Medina, or Wyoming, Minnesota. Onsite internship with daily transportation to and from the office required.

Salary: $21.00–$28.50 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.

What you will do

• Complete impactful project-based assignments aligned with business objectives.
• Support a finance team in business division planning and analysis, operations, cost accounting, engineering, budgeting, forecasting, corporate accounting, treasury, audit, or tax.
• Work on both ongoing and short-term projects during the 12-week internship.
• Collaborate across functions through the Intern Innovation Challenge and develop practical solutions to a hirify.global business problem.
• Present internship results and career aspirations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance, with intended graduation between August 2027 and May 2029.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to commit to a full 12-week internship at 40 hours per week during one of the specified 2027 date ranges.
• Must be a U.S. person and must not require employment sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness and ability to relocate and maintain reliable transportation for daily commuting to the office.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or co-op experience, or participation in relevant projects.
• At least two years of university coursework.
• Leadership experience in work, organizations, or the classroom.
• Strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.

Hiring process

• Applications are generally open from August through November, followed by an initial phone screen.
• Selected candidates participate in a virtual panel interview with an HR business partner and functional leader.
• Internship assignments are communicated in February after alignment with candidate interests and business demand.
